SCHOOLS
Create-a-Cartoon
We are now offering Small Factory’s Create-a-Cartoon program, one of our top attended activities to schools across the NY/NJ region. Our program is an amazing way to let your students’ imaginations soar while introducing them to creative writing, art, music and acting. Young producers will work together to dream up an original story using their own imaginations. Anything goes and anything can happen! Cartoons are not only fun for children to watch but if put together correctly can be a wealth of knowledge. Every cartoon has characters, settings and plots that young producers can create.
Creative writing, art, acting and teamwork are just a few of the skills that students acquire and build upon during our courses.
More than 30 public and private elementary schools utilize the Create-a-Cartoon program to enhance Language Arts Literacy, Visual and Performing Arts, Technology and the Social Skills aspects of Comprehensive Health and Physical Education. Cartoon themes can target specific content areas or be interdisciplinary in nature.
Grants may be available to you to fund the Create-a-Cartoon in your school or non-profit organization.
Presentations
Executive Producers at Small Factory give an educational and interactive talk on how cartoons are made. Topics include animation, music production, composition, software, and creative thinking. We can tailor our presentation for any age group ranging from 5 years old and on.

Habitat Heroes
